Little Matters was established in an effort to provide holistic support to women and their families as they navigate the sometimes challenging path of postpartum and early parenthood.

Throughout pregnancy, women and families are generally well supported with frequent check ins with their healthcare providers. However once baby is born, that support often falls away when support is needed the most. Our goal is to bridge this gap and offer services which primarily focus on improving maternal mood and lactation/infant feeding support, while also holding ideas and strategies around gentle sleep approaches and sensory needs for both mother and baby.

We want to support you to grow confidence in your parenting and bring joy back to this journey

We value and offer support around cued care for babies, the idea of responding to your baby in the way you think they are cueing for. This approach nurtures the healthy development of your baby: their brain, their body, and their emotional development.

Our work is underpinned by Neuroprotective Developmental Care, to support parents with sleep, breastfeeding and cry-fuss problems. In addition to our main focus of psychology and lactation, our hope is to offer parents guidance around an evidence-based alternative to mainstream sleep training practices and breastfeeding support which is backed by research,

Our Goal

We believe that when parents are well equipped with support, compassion and knowledge, they are better equipped and more confident to meet the emotional and physical needs of their child/children.
