Teall McQueen - Senior Clinical Psychologist

Teall is the founder of Little Matters.

She is a Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor who has worked with people of all ages and stages. Teall has over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in both the public and private mental health sector.

Through having her own children, Teall developed a passion for birth, infants and Matresence - the journey of becoming a mother. She believes the transition to parenthood is a hard one - a time of significant change and adjustment. She appreciates the many challenges women and families can face during this time and brings a lived understanding to her work.

With an engaging, warm and compassionate manner, Teall works to develop a relationship with her clients that can foster growth both in and out of session. She is passionate about supporting individuals create a meaningful life by reorganising difficult situations into opportunities for development and growth. Teall believes individuals are the experts of their own lives, though require additional support through hard times - something that can make all the difference in times of need.

Teall has additional training in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. She is also a Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC/Possums) Accredited Practitioner and Registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator.


Angela Green - Perinatal Psychologist

Angela is an authentic and compassionate Perinatal Psychologist who is passionate about all things mental health, parenting and wellbeing.

Angela has worked for many years in a public mental health setting, private practice and more recently as a School Psychologist.  As a Mum of two young girls, she strongly believes in the importance of offering a judgment free, warm and compassionate space for people to come and get support in dealing with the changes and challenges that are part of the perinatal period.  

Since becoming a mother herself, Angela developed a keen interest in supporting individuals who are embarking on their parenting journey; whether they are planning to become parents, already pregnant, transitioning to new parenthood or further expanding their family. Angela is passionate about providing sensitive support to those who have experienced fertility challenges, pregnancy or infant loss. Angela has experienced both the joys and challenges of the perinatal period and feels privileged  to walk beside and empower others throughout this significant journey.

Angela has training in Perinatal Mental Health as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Schema Therapy. 

Angela is only available via Telehealth.


Erin Lima - Perinatal Psychologist

Erin believes in creating a warm, non-judgemental and safe space for mothers, fathers and families in the perinatal period. She strives for her clients to feel they can ‘come as they are’ into a session and works with them to foster confidence, self-compassion and wellbeing.

Erin has always had an interest in child development and supporting children and families. She worked as childcare educator and in schools for the past 9 years both in full and part-time capacities as she completed her studies in Psychology. Her passion in this space was furthered when she undertook intern experience at Perinatal Infant Mental Health Services. This solidified her desire to to work with individuals as they navigate both the joys and challenges of the transition into parenthood.

Erin is currently on Maternity leave until April 2025.


Midwife Alex - RN/Midwife and IBCLC Lactation Consultant

Midwife Alex has teamed up with Little Matters to provide families with holistic supported care.

Alex is a IBCLC Lactation Consultant and Dual Registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA. She has worked in many fields of nursing and across the spectrum of midwifery.

Alex is passionate about supporting women and their families through their journey into parenthood. She has a great understanding of the complexities that can arise during pregnancy and birth that can impact on families, not only at the time, but when they start thinking about another pregnancy. She empowers her clients and helps to create realistic manageable plans that are easily implemented at home.

Alex has an in depth knowledge of feeding difficulties and development milestones. She understands the challenges and pressures placed on families when feeding isn’t working out as planned. Alex is committed to providing support without judgment or bias to help families achieve their feeding goals.

Alex has completed a Post-Graduate Degree in Maternal Critical Care. She is also an Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC/Possums) and Biomechanics for Birth Advanced Practitioner.


Tracey Tyley - Postpartum Mental Health Peer Support Worker

With a lived experience in postpartum mental health challenges, Peer Support Worker, Tracey provides emotional support to mothers to express their feelings, thoughts and concerns in order to alleviate feelings of isolation, anxiety and depression.

Peer Support can be integrated into your treatment plan, to compliment your professional care from your GP and Psychology team. This allows you to have a holistic approach to meet your emotional, psychological, and practical needs.

Tracey is a mum of three, has a lived experience of postnatal anxiety with intrusive thoughts, is a doula, and is certified with COPE and PANDA in postnatal mental health support. Tracey lives in QLD and is only available via telehealth or phone.

Emma Coy - Practice Manager and Administration

Emma is the warm and friendly voice on the phone and the welcoming smile as you walk through the door. Emma understands that asking for help can feel daunting. As your first point of contact, you can be sure you will always be met with compassion, discretion and empathy.

As a mother of two teenage girls, Emma has ridden the rollercoaster of motherhood for many years. She knows the highs and lows can be both challenging and joyous.  Emma loves working with the Little Matters team in providing support for women in their journey to motherhood - whatever that looks like. 

Emma has a wonderful way with babies and will happily be on hand to hold or rock yours when needed. She also our resident barista and makes a great cup of coffee!
